overall a very relaxing stay during our road trip. accommodating, pleasant staff, unbeatable location just next door to fast food chains as well as close to restaurants. plus, 5 minutes drive from us post office. nicely updated double room with usb ports, fridge, very comfortable bed.

They have Hearing Impaired Access rooms with usb ports and a king bed, for instance and care about everyone. The best thing is location - very close to Merced, CA, several trains, downtown.

Check-in was friendly and quick. The room was clean and had a nice, comfy bed. I appreciated having a fridge and microwave in the room for snacks and drinks. Breakfast had a great variety with a pancake maker and hot eggs. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere despite being near a busy road. The location felt a bit sketchy, particularly with homeless people around the area. I faced a noisy disturbance late one night, made it hard to sleep. That said, the room was cozy enough to relax during the day. I think the staff could improve communication regarding room amenities, as I had to ask about the coffee maker that wasn't initially visible. It was a decent stay, but some safety concerns did linger due to the neighborhood.

Excellent value, adjacent to McD's, gas, convenience, close to Hwy 99 and downtown Merced. Oj, coffee and sweet rolls in am.
Dicey neighborhood. Some rooms face the freeway.
